When the roots are deep, there is no reason to fear the wind.
— African proverb

Hello! My name is Vicki and I’ve been providing individual therapy to children and adolescents with various mental health and developmental challenges since May 2001. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma and ADHD. As a licensed mental health counselor in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island, I have over 20 years of experience offering support to families. I have held several roles in various settings such as being an outpatient therapist in a group practice, art therapist at a preschool program and residential school setting, case manager for an agency and group therapy leader at a partial hospitalization program. I have also supervised new clinicians , which I thoroughly enjoy!

Fun fact about me is that I’m a first generation Greek American and I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures. My clients would describe me as an animal lover since I love talking about my black lab Pearl and my two ragdoll kitties and showing pics of them. Therapy does not have to be serious all the time, even though we are doing some serious work!

My clinical approach is based on Expressive Therapy and Clinical Psychology, which I studied at Lesley University and earned my master’s degree in 2001. I use Art Therapy, Play therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy approaches. My focus is always to tailor interventions to each client’s needs, interests and goals. In my work with young children, I enjoy collaborating with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic and supportive treatment plan.
